Collective Action as Yogic Practice
A central premise of this course is that ethical social action and spiritual practice are not separate pursuits - they are two expressions of the same inner movement, each deepening and sustaining the other.
Â
Alongside weekly practice in meditation, asana, and yogic philosophy, participants will collaborate to design and carry out a small, concrete collective action in the world - one that grows directly from the ethics and principles explored during the course.
Â
This project will be intentionally modest in scope, shaped and carried out together over the eight weeks, and approached as a continuation of yogic practice - an opportunity to direct our energy outward in service, guided by the same spirit of compassion, non-attachment, and expanded identity that we are cultivating within.
